KUALA LUMPUR, August 26 — Maxis has launched its 2025 Scholarship Programme to empower Malaysian students pursuing higher education in critical Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields such as Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science — areas vital to driving the nation’s digital transformation.
The programme provides comprehensive financial support covering tuition and living expenses, while also offering internship and job placement opportunities with Maxis upon graduation. Previously limited to first-year undergraduates.
The scholarship has been expanded to include second-year undergraduates and postgraduates between the ages of 18 and 23 at recognised higher education institutions in Malaysia. Applications are open until 12 September 2025, with Maxis reaffirming its commitment to building an AI-ready workforce and nurturing the next generation of digital leaders.
