KUALA LUMPUR, August 30 – Kuala Lumpur Tower has unveiled its latest attraction, Glass Box (Merdeka), a breathtaking sky-high experience perched 300 metres above ground on the Sky Terrace.

Designed as a seamless glass cube that boldly projects into the open sky, the structure immerses visitors in a thrilling perspective of the city with the iconic Menara 118 – the world’s second tallest building – as its dramatic backdrop.

Launched during Merdeka month, the name pays homage both to Malaysia’s Independence and the architectural ambition embodied by Menara 118. Built with three layers of 12mm tempered laminated glass and framed in rose-gold steel, Glass Box (Merdeka) accommodates up to six visitors at a time, combining engineering excellence with aesthetic allure.

More than just an observation point, the attraction positions Kuala Lumpur among the world’s top sky experiences, rivalling Chicago’s Skydeck Ledge and the Dubai Frame. “Tourism today is no longer about checking off landmarks – it’s about living them,” said Khairil Faizal Hj Othman, CEO of LSH Service Master Sdn. Bhd.“

Glass Box (Merdeka) gives visitors the thrill of height, the pride of design, and a story they take home.” Tickets are now available on-site at Kuala Lumpur Tower.
