GEORGE TOWN, September 28 — Harpswell has launched the in-person component of its seventh annual ASEAN Women’s Leadership Summit in Penang, Malaysia, bringing together 33 exceptional young women leaders from across ASEAN and Nepal for a five-month hybrid program focused on leadership, cross-cultural exchange, and community building.

Hosted in partnership with Universiti Sains Malaysia’s Centre for Research on Women and Gender (KANITA), the Summit features workshops and dialogues led by regional and global experts, with this year’s theme centered on the Inner Development Goals as a pathway to sustainability and transformation.

Since its inception in 2016, the Summit has nurtured emerging women leaders from diverse sectors, equipping them with the knowledge, networks, and skills to drive gender equality and positive change throughout Southeast Asia.
