SHAH ALAM, September 11 –  Canon Marketing Malaysia has introduced three new additions to its professional imaging lineup, designed to support filmmakers, content creators, and production crews in Malaysia.

The launch features the Canon EOS C50 Cinema EOS Camera, the smallest and most versatile Cinema EOS hybrid camera to date; the Canon CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1 Cine-Servo Lens, Canon’s widest-ever Cine-Servo lens built for both cinematic and broadcast environments; and the Canon RF85mm f/1.4L VCM Hybrid Lens, the first medium telephoto lens in Canon’s f/1.4 VCM hybrid prime series.

Together, these innovations enhance Canon’s hybrid ecosystem, delivering advanced tools that merge cinema-quality performance with flexibility for diverse production needs. Equipped with a 7K full-frame CMOS sensor, the EOS C50 camera supports 7K 60P RAW video, 4K 120P, and 32MP still photography, while introducing open gate and simultaneous crop recording for multi-format workflows.

The CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1 Cine-Servo lens offers an ultra-wide 11mm focal length with 8K HDR performance, while the lightweight RF85mm f/1.4L VCM Hybrid Lens provides a bright f/1.4 aperture, 85mm portrait perspective, and hybrid-focused features such as focus breathing suppression and clickless iris control.

“These new launches reflect Canon’s deep understanding of the diverse needs of today’s creators,” said Edward Chang, Head of Image Communication Business Division at Canon Marketing Malaysia. “From cinematic productions to live broadcasts and hybrid content creation, Canon empowers Malaysian storytellers to capture their vision without limits.”
