CUPERTINO, September 29 — Apple is reportedly close to beginning mass production of its next-generation M5-powered MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models, along with refreshed Studio Display monitors, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The devices, code-named J714, J716, J813, J815, J427, and J527, are slated for release between late 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, though an earlier-than-expected launch remains possible.
The upcoming MacBook Pro lineup, expected in 14-inch and 16-inch models with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips, may not see major design changes immediately but is tipped for bigger upgrades in late 2026.
Including OLED displays, touchscreens, slimmer builds, and next-gen M6 chips built on TSMC’s 2nm process. Alongside the Mac lineup, Apple is also preparing a new iPad Pro, Vision Pro, and HomePod mini refresh this year, with a budget iPad, iPad Air, and iPhone 17e likely arriving in early 2026.
