CHANDLER, Arizona, October 11 — Intel has officially introduced its next-generation Intel® Core™ Ultra series 3 processors, code-named Panther Lake, marking the company’s first client system-on-chip (SoC) built on the advanced Intel 18A process node.
The new architecture will power a wide range of AI PCs, gaming systems, and edge devices, offering up to 50% faster CPU and graphics performance compared to previous generations. Set for high-volume production later this year at Intel’s new Fab 52 in Chandler, Arizona.
Panther Lake highlights Intel’s leadership in U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and innovation. Alongside Panther Lake, Intel also previewed Intel® Xeon® 6+ (Clearwater Forest) — its first 18A-based server processor designed for hyperscale data centers, delivering major efficiency and performance gains.
“We are entering an exciting new era of computing,” said Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, emphasizing the company’s commitment to advancing American technology and building a resilient semiconductor supply chain.
Broad market availability for Panther Lake is expected in January 2026, while Clearwater Forest is slated for launch in the first half of 2026.
