KUALA LUMPUR, October 14 — A 16-year-old Form Four girl was killed after being allegedly stabbed multiple times by a 14-year-old Form Two male student at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, this morning.
The incident occurred around 9.30am near the girls’ restroom, and another student was reportedly injured. Police have confirmed there were no elements of bullying involved in the attack.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said the suspect was arrested shortly after the incident and remains in custody for investigation.
The victim’s body has been sent to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for a post-mortem, while police continue to probe the motive behind the tragic killing.
