KUALA LUMPUR, November 6 — Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim today officiated the launch of Bateri Madani, Malaysia’s most affordable premium maintenance-free car battery developed by Sejamas World Sdn Bhd.
Priced from just RM130 — up to 50% cheaper than comparable brands — the initiative aims to ease the cost-of-living burden for the B40 and M40 communities while ensuring quality and reliability. Developed in collaboration with global manufacturers, each Bateri Madani comes with a one-year or 20,000km warranty and includes free installation and diagnostics.
The Prime Minister hailed the initiative as part of the “Gerak Madani” ecosystem, aligning with the government’s mission to strengthen economic resilience and improve affordability for Malaysian households.
