GEORGE TOWN, November 12 — Gurney Paragon Mall by Hunza Group has officially launched its festive campaign, “Christmas Reimagined,” with a dazzling 35-foot Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Atrium.

The event, themed around rediscovering the warmth and magic of the holidays, transformed the mall into a whimsical fairytale setting of soft pink, gold and champagne hues — complete with twinkling lights and a child’s slide symbolising joy and simplicity.

Graced by En Abdul Hadi Che Man, Director of Tourism Malaysia (Northern Region), alongside Ms Khor Tze Ming, Executive Director of Hunza Group, the launch also saw the participation of children from Ruyi Children’s Home in a heartwarming CSR dinner hosted with newly opened tenant Ban Bu Dian.

Ms Khor expressed that Gurney Paragon Mall strives to be more than just a retail destination, but a community hub that celebrates meaningful moments together. En Abdul Hadi applauded the mall’s role in enriching Penang’s festive and tourism landscape.

The evening also featured an enchanting dance performance, “Tidings of Joy, A Dance of the Christmas Spirit” by Penang Modern Dance Ensemble. Throughout the festive season, visitors can look forward to joyful campaigns, live music, and family-friendly events — truly reimagining Christmas with wonder, warmth, and togetherness.
