SEPANG, December 6 — The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has received a RM1 million Logistics Development Grant from China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) under the Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) to enhance capacity building and digital transformation at Pusat Logistik Negara (PLN).
Announced at Transport Expo Asia (TXA) 2025, the grant will fund initiatives including certifying 18 MOT officers with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, developing the National Freight Data Framework, and digitalising MOT’s database system with AI to drive data-driven governance and workforce development.
Witnessed by Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook, this marks MOT’s first ICP-driven initiative in logistics, complementing a decade of ICP projects that have boosted technology transfer, skills, and competitiveness in Malaysia’s transport and logistics sector.
