GEORGE TOWN, November 21 — Penang marked a major leap forward in its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) landscape today with the simultaneous launch of the 2025 K-Beauty Expo Malaysia and the 2025 K-MediTech Expo Malaysia.
Officiated in the presence of Penang State EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy (PETACE) YB Wong Hon Wai, the event brought together distinguished guests from Malaysia and Korea, signalling strengthened international cooperation in beauty, medical technology, and trade development.

The 2025 K-Beauty Expo Malaysia, making its debut in the country, features top Korean and global brands presenting innovations in skincare, cosmetics, wellness, and smart beauty technologies, alongside extensive B2B matching sessions.

Meanwhile, the inaugural Malaysian edition of the K-MediTech Expo showcases advanced medical devices, diagnostic tools, digital healthcare solutions, and hospital systems. With strong support from the Korean government, both expos aim to deepen collaboration between Malaysia and Korea.
And regional healthcare industries—further positioning Penang as a growing hub for international exhibitions and cross-industry innovation.
