GEORGE TOWN, November 26 — The Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) has officially launched its new business events campaign, “Penang Inspiring Meetings x Visit Malaysia 2026,” at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre (PWCC), which fully hosted the event.
The initiative aims to boost Penang’s appeal as a premier destination for meetings, conferences, and incentive travel, aligning with the national Visit Malaysia 2026 agenda. PCEB CEO Ashwin Gunasekeran highlighted the campaign as a testament to Penang’s readiness to welcome global business travellers while championing meaningful connections and sustainable impact.
As part of its sustainability-driven approach, PCEB is spotlighting turtle conservation at the Penang Turtle Sanctuary in Pantai Kerachut, symbolising endurance and environmental harmony—key values shaping Penang’s business events vision.
Looking ahead to 2026, PCEB plans to expand support across new sectors, prioritising innovation, social responsibility, and inclusive growth. Through this campaign, PCEB reinforces its commitment to positioning Penang as Malaysia’s leading hub for high-value, high-impact business events that benefit the economy, community, and environment.
