PETALING JAYA, December 10 — Selangor FC bounced back from a winless streak with a 2-0 triumph over Kelantan The Real Warriors (KTRW FC) in a Super League clash at Stadium MBPJ.

The Red and Yellow side, led by coach Christophe Gamel, showcased an aggressive first half, with Alvin Fortes opening the scoring in the 21st minute after beating goalkeeper Damyan Damyanov.

Despite continued pressure, Selangor could not extend their lead before halftime. In the second half, the home team capitalized on defensive errors as Chrigor Moraes doubled the lead in the 55th minute.

Five minutes later, Kelantan was reduced to 10 men following a second yellow card for Abdul Sesay, while Sean Selvaraj’s attempt to pull one back in the 66th minute was blocked by Richmond Ankrah.

Selangor held on to secure the 2-0 victory, maintaining their fourth-place position with 16 points, while Kelantan remains seventh with 11 points. Selangor will face Penang FC on Dec 7, and Kelantan will play Johor Darul Ta’zim on Dec 20.
