KUALA LUMPUR, December 29 — Employers can enjoy an 80 per cent reduction on Late Contribution Charges (FCLB) imposed by the Social Security Organisation (Socso) from today until the end of February 2026, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan announced.
He said the move, involving penalties totalling RM157 million affecting about 300,000 employers, aims to encourage settlement of overdue contributions while easing the financial burden on employers, particularly micro, small and medium enterprises, as long as payments are made within the stipulated period.
