KUALA LUMPUR, January 1 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his New Year wishes to all Malaysians, urging the nation to embrace 2026 with a spirit of togetherness, resilience and shared purpose.
Emphasising unity and ongoing reforms, Anwar said the Madani government remains committed to building a more just, prosperous and inclusive Malaysia, where progress and prosperity are enjoyed by all segments of society.
He reaffirmed that the Madani administration will continue to serve with integrity, courage and compassion, delivering tangible benefits to the people while elevating Malaysia’s standing on the global stage.
Concluding his message, Anwar expressed hope that 2026 would be a meaningful year for all Malaysians and, together with his wife Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, prayed for lasting peace, harmony and prosperity for the nation.
