ANKARA, January 11 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reaffirmed Malaysia’s steadfast commitment to justice, peace and human dignity in global affairs, saying the country is ready to support multilateral initiatives, including United Nations peacekeeping efforts, while respecting the roles of regional stakeholders.
Speaking during a public lecture in Ankara, Anwar said Malaysia’s foreign policy remains principled and consistent, grounded in international law and opposition to unilateral actions that threaten global stability.
Adding that Malaysia will continue to engage all major powers respectfully while voicing firm positions on issues such as Gaza, the Rohingya crisis and Venezuela in the interest of a rules-based international order and the well-being of Malaysians.
