GENTING HIGHLANDS, January 11 — Resorts World Genting (RWG) has ushered in Chinese New Year 2026 with the launch of “CNY in the Sky,” a resort-wide celebration blending cultural traditions, immersive storytelling and elevated festive experiences above the clouds.

The festivities are led by the debut of RWG’s Chinese New Year 2026 brand film, which introduces Tian Ma, the Horse zodiac mascot symbolising progress and renewal, alongside the official recognition of the Genting SkyWorlds Immersive Studio by the Malaysia Book of Records as the country’s highest-altitude immersive attraction.

Guests can experience the Chinese New Year-themed immersive showcase at the Immersive Studio from Jan 9 to March 3, 2026, alongside a full calendar of festive dining, reunion dinners, cultural performances and promotions across the resort.

From pork-free banquet packages at the Genting International Convention Centre to festive feasts, Yee Sang offerings, prosperity shows and vibrant bazaars, “CNY in the Sky” marks the start of a truly elevated Chinese New Year celebration at RWG, which also coincides with Resorts World Awana’s 40th anniversary in 2026.
