KUALA LUMPUR, January 21 — TP-Link Malaysia has formalised a strategic partnership with Freshtel Internet through the signing of a memorandum of understanding, marking a joint initiative to enhance high-performance home connectivity with WiFi 7 technology.
Under the collaboration, Freshtel will integrate TP-Link’s HB610 WiFi 7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh into its service offerings, making it among the first internet service providers in Malaysia to adopt a WiFi 7 tri-band solution featuring an additional 6GHz band to reduce congestion.
And deliver more stable in-home connectivity for multi-device households. TP-Link Malaysia’s Head of Enterprise Networking & ISP Business, Alvin Ou, said the partnership supports service providers in delivering more reliable in-home WiFi experiences.
While Freshtel Internet chief executive officer Steve Choo highlighted the move as a key step in strengthening services and preparing for future connectivity demands, with both companies also exploring broader networking opportunities through TP-Link’s Omada platform.
