GEORGE TOWN, January 16 — Penang FC delivered a dominant performance to secure a convincing 5–0 win against Melaka FC in their Liga Super 2025/2026 match at Stadium Bandaraya, Pulau Pinang on Sunday.

Wearing the captain’s armband, No.15 struck twice in the 4th and 9th minutes, before No.7 added a quick brace in the 11th and 14th minutes to give the home side an emphatic early lead. Penang FC completed the rout with a fifth goal in the 85th minute through No.55, sealing all three points in front of 671 spectators.

The match, officiated by Anuar Abd Rahman, featured two minutes of added time in the first half and four minutes in the second, and was played in fine weather conditions with temperatures reaching 32°C.
