Apple has officially launched its new Creator Studio subscription, offering creators access to a comprehensive suite of professional image, audio, and video editing tools under a single plan.
The bundle includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac and iPad, priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year in the U.S., and RM29.90 per month or RM 299.00 in Malaysia, positioning it as a direct alternative to Adobe’s Creative Cloud.
Individually, these apps would cost close to $680 if purchased outright, making the subscription an attractive option for users who need multiple tools. Beyond access to the apps, Creator Studio unlocks exclusive AI-powered features not available in standalone versions.
While also adding premium content and intelligent tools to free apps such as Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and later Freeform. Apple says Creator Studio is designed for creators who manage their entire workflow independently.
From video production and audio creation to graphics and presentations. New features include AI-powered transcript and visual search in Final Cut Pro, intelligent session players in Logic Pro, advanced warp and mockup tools in Pixelmator Pro, and AI-assisted content generation and data analysis in iWork apps.
However, the all-in-one model may not appeal to everyone, as Apple does not offer lower-priced tiers for individual apps. Users who only need one or two tools must still subscribe to the full bundle to access the new AI features, limiting flexibility for more casual or specialised users.
Creator Studio is available now via the iOS and Mac App Stores, with a one-month free trial for new subscribers and up to three months free with eligible Mac or iPad purchases. The subscription can be shared with up to five family members.
While students and educators can subscribe at a significantly reduced rate, further broadening access to Apple’s growing creative ecosystem.
