JOHOR BAHRU, February 3 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim concluded a two-day family visit to Johor today, departing for Kuala Lumpur aboard the Electric Train Service 3 (ETS3) from JB Sentral after touring key heritage and recreational sites in the state.

Accompanied by his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Anwar expressed gratitude for the visit, saying “Alhamdulillah, Johor completed,” as he mingled with visitors and staff at the terminal before boarding the train.

During his stay, Anwar visited Johor Zoo with his grandchildren, where he interacted with the public and received briefings on recent upgrades, expressing hope that the zoo would continue to serve as a recreational, educational and heritage asset.

He also toured the Royal Abu Bakar Museum, praising the Johor government’s efforts to preserve heritage and enhance tourism attractions in line with the Visit Johor 2026 aspirations.
