PUTRAJAYA, February 4 – The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has taken firm action following a sexual harassment incident involving a Grab driver and a passenger in Johor Bahru.

Ordering the immediate revocation of the driver’s Public Service Vehicle (PSV) licence. Transport Minister said the cancellation bars the individual from providing services across all e-hailing platforms.

Underscoring the ministry’s zero-tolerance stance on conduct that endangers passenger safety. The ministry, through the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), will also summon all e-hailing operators.

Including Grab, to present improvement plans aimed at enhancing passenger safety. MOT reiterated its readiness to support the victim and ensure police action is taken against the perpetrator.

Stressing that the safety and well-being of passengers remain a top priority.
