KUALA LUMPUR, February 5 — Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah has reassured that the government’s MyDigital ID system, while enabling secure online access to public services, will not replace MyKad or physical verification.

And manual service options will remain for vulnerable groups, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities, rural residents, and Orang Asli communities. He noted that Digital Economic Centres established by MCMC will support these groups with internet access and digital literacy.

Ensuring that even those without digital facilities can continue to access government services safely and efficiently.
