KUALA LUMPUR, February 6 — This Chinese New Year, IKEA Malaysia is collaborating with Joey Yap Consulting Group to introduce practical Feng Shui-inspired home refresh ideas for the Year of the Horse, a year symbolising movement, energy and progress.
Through a series of sharing sessions, the initiative highlights how simple changes—such as decluttering entrances, improving lighting, and creating clearer pathways—can enhance flow, balance and everyday functionality, using accessible and affordable IKEA home furnishing solutions.
To bring these ideas closer to customers, IKEA Malaysia will host Feng Shui sharing sessions nationwide on 8 February 2026, alongside festive activities including CNY calligraphy, mascot appearances and digital gamification.
Malcolm Pruys, Country Retail Director of IKEA Malaysia, said the initiative aims to show that creating a more comfortable, welcoming home does not require major renovations, but small, thoughtful adjustments.
The activities run at IKEA stores until 15 February 2026, with more details available at ikea.my.
