KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 — Cili Kampung Malaysia has acquired a 50% equity stake in Dotty’s Pastries & Coffee Sdn Bhd in a strategic RM23.9 million deal aimed at accelerating national expansion and strengthening its footprint in Malaysia’s food and beverage sector.

The acquisition, which coincides with Dotty’s 10th anniversary, sees Cili Kampung subscribing to 11,956,234 new shares, positioning both homegrown brands to combine authentic Malay culinary heritage with premium Halal-certified artisanal dining.

Cili Kampung Director Anwar Azeez said the move reflects strong confidence in Dotty’s brand equity and long-term growth potential, while Dotty’s Founder Nadia Nasimuddin described the partnership as a defining milestone.

That will enable the brand to scale responsibly into a nationally recognised powerhouse without compromising its artisanal standards and hospitality experience.
