IPOH, March 25 — Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has allocated RM250,000 to upgrade infrastructure at five schools in the Teluk Intan parliamentary constituency.

Each school — SK Seri Intan, SMK Seri Setia, SJKC San Min 1, SJKC San Min 2 and SJKC Batu Dua Belas — will receive RM50,000 to improve facilities and create a safer, more conducive learning environment.

Nga said the initiative reflects the Madani government’s commitment to ensuring no school is left without proper basic amenities. He expressed hope that the additional funds would boost students’ motivation and enhance teaching conditions.

Nga, accompanied by Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh, visited SK Seri Intan to inspect facilities and present the allocation. Local leaders and school representatives also attended the programme.
