GEORGE TOWN, March 2 — The Yee Haa! Chinese New Year celebration, organized by the Tanjong Parliamentary Service Centre, concluded successfully on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
The event, attended by YB Lim Hui Ying and thousands of residents, transformed Tanjong into a vibrant festive hub, filled with laughter, joy, and the rich spirit of the Lunar New Year.
The celebration drew an estimated 10,000 attendees, highlighting the strong community spirit and unity of the Tanjong constituency.
The night featured a wide array of captivating performances, an interactive cultural zone, and over 20 food stalls, delighting guests of all ages.
Smiles and laughter from the crowd created memorable moments as families and friends celebrated together.
