SAN FRANCISCO, March 9 — Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy S26 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked event, with TM Roh, CEO and Head of Device eXperience, highlighting the region’s strong AI adoption.
He noted that 9 in 10 young Southeast Asians use AI daily, and 7 in 10 believe it improves their lives. Roh emphasized that the Galaxy S26 is designed to deliver enhanced mobile performance, superior camera capabilities, and seamless AI-assisted daily tasks.
Optimized for local languages at Samsung’s R&D centers in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, the series will launch first in Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore, reflecting strong regional demand for premium mobile experiences.
