SELANGOR, March 16 – Selangor FC secured a narrow 3–2 victory over KL City FC in an exciting Malaysia Super League 2025/2026 match at Stadium Cheras on Sunday.
Selangor took an early lead in the 11th minute through player No. 7 before KL City responded in the second half.
Selangor extended their advantage when player No. 66 scored in the 60th minute, followed by another goal from player No. 9 in the 70th minute to make it 3–0.
KL City FC mounted a late comeback with goals from player No. 5 in the 72nd minute and player No. 11 in the 85th minute, but it was not enough to deny Selangor the win.
A total of 3,485 spectators attended the match, which saw two minutes of added time in the first half and six minutes in the second half. The match commissioner for the game was Teoh Hee Loon.
