SHAH ALAM, March 28 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will convene a meeting with all state leaders next week to coordinate Malaysia’s response to the escalating US-Iran conflict.

Speaking after Friday prayers, he said the session will include menteris besar, chief ministers and opposition leaders to ensure a unified national approach.

Anwar said briefings will be delivered by the National Security Council and National Economic Action Council to outline necessary measures.

He stressed the importance of collective action despite political differences, noting Malaysia remains relatively stable compared to regional peers.

The move follows recent steps to cushion economic impacts, with further strategies expected to be discussed before any parliamentary deliberation.
