PETALING JAYA, April 10 — A student pleaded guilty at the Batu Pahat Magistrates’ Court to a charge of molesting a teenage girl, while two others claimed trial.
The accused, aged 16, admitted to the offence, while the other two, aged 16 and 15, denied the charge. The incident allegedly occurred behind a building in Tongkang Pechah on March 27.
The court granted bail of RM1,500 each to the two who claimed trial and set May 13 for case mention and submissions.
In a separate charge, one of the accused also pleaded not guilty to another serious offence. Proceedings will continue as investigations and legal processes unfold.
