KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will meet all Chief Ministers and Menteris Besar today to discuss the ongoing global energy crisis and its impact on Malaysia’s economy,

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil confirmed. Key issues will be reviewed, with a briefing and press conferences expected afterward, led by Deputy Prime Minister II Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Anwar urged Malaysians to prepare for a challenging global energy environment amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

He highlighted that while the situation is uncertain, Malaysia’s economic fundamentals remain strong, and encouraged citizens to support local products and businesses to strengthen domestic resilience against external shocks.
