KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 – UOB Malaysia and Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) have launched a Vendor Financing Programme to improve funding access.
For suppliers in the water infrastructure sector. The initiative enables vendors, mainly SMEs, to secure financing through a simplified post-shipment facility backed by PAAB’s payment undertaking.
The programme aims to strengthen cash flow, reduce financial constraints and enhance project delivery across Malaysia’s water supply chain.
With over 700 water projects underway, the initiative supports national efforts to improve infrastructure efficiency, resilience.
And long-term sustainability while helping vendors meet timelines and operational demands.
