KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 – Fadillah Yusof said mastering knowledge and fostering innovation are vital forms of “jihad” in driving Malaysia’s progress and strengthening its economy.
He highlighted that the ongoing West Asia crisis has exposed opportunities in key sectors such as food security, finance and energy, urging greater local capability and reduced reliance on imports.
Speaking at a business programme in Kuching, Fadillah stressed the need to build domestic industries and retain economic value within the country.
He also emphasised the role of Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia in supporting entrepreneurs through collaboration, knowledge and skills development to ensure sustainable growth.
