PETALING JAYA, April 9 — Businessman Victor Chin Boon Long has filed a lawsuit against individuals he described as part of a “corporate mafia”, alleging an attempted takeover of a security-based technology firm.

Chin claimed a prominent businessman, named as the first defendant, used influence to trigger enforcement actions.

Including investigations linked to Bukit Aman’s anti-money laundering task force, resulting in frozen bank and CDS accounts, detentions, and pressure on shareholders.

The case is scheduled for e-review at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on May 5. Chin, who was previously detained under Op Viking.

Said he is prepared to reveal further details through proper legal channels, including a possible royal commission of inquiry.

Authorities have launched multi-agency investigations into broader allegations of corporate manipulation involving enforcement bodies and publicly listed companies.
