PUTRAJAYA, April 11 — Dzulkefly Ahmad assured that Malaysia’s medicine supply will remain stable and sufficient until at least the end of June.

Supported by both government and industry stockpiles. He said essential items, including insulin and vaccines, are being closely managed to prevent shortages amid ongoing global uncertainties.

However, Dzulkefly noted rising costs, with medicines increasing by 30 to 40 per cent and some medical devices by up to 100 per cent due to logistics and supply chain disruptions.

He added that the government is working with key ministries to manage the impact, while ensuring healthcare services remain unaffected.
