KUALA LUMPUR, April 20 — Petronas has confirmed that fuel supply nationwide will remain stable through June 2026 following the arrival of its vessel, Ocean Thunder.

Carrying one million barrels of crude oil from Basrah, Iraq. The shipment is part of efforts to maintain supply amid ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting global shipping routes.

The national oil company said Malaysia’s fuel supply is supported by a diversified network, including shipments passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite disruptions in the region, Petronas assured that sufficient supply is in place to meet domestic demand across its stations.
