KUALA TERENGGANU, May 4 — Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia has pledged full cooperation with authorities investigating an alleged RM7 million squash court corruption case.

In Kuala Lumpur. Minister Mohammed Taufiq Johari stressed a “no compromise” stance on governance, affirming support for probes led by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

The case involves a statutory body CEO remanded over suspected inducements linked to contractor claims.

Separately, the minister said the decision not to establish a centralised athletes’ village for Malaysia Games 2026 in Selangor was collectively agreed upon by all states.

He added that the ministry will review calls to reassess the RM100 daily athlete subsidy, with further discussions to be held alongside the host state.
