GEORGE TOWN, April 21 — Police in Timur Laut District responded to an incident involving a local man behaving erratically along Lebuh Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas.
After receiving public reports at about 10.40am. According to authorities, the individual was found in the middle of the road near the traffic junction close to INTI International College Penang.
Before being safely restrained with the assistance of ambulance personnel from the Malaysian Red Crescent Society.
The man, who was reportedly undressed and acting in a disturbed manner, was later transported under police escort to Penang Hospital for further medical attention.
He is currently receiving treatment at the psychiatric ward while authorities work to establish his identity, as he was found without any identification documents.
Police are also actively tracing his next-of-kin to assist in the case and ensure proper care and follow-up support.
