BUTTERWORTH, April 25 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil announced that high-speed internet installations at armed forces family housing have been completed.
Ahead of schedule in several locations, with some projects finished up to 14 months early. The initiative, led by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission in collaboration.
With the Armed Forces, is part of the Fibre-to-the-Home project covering 73 camps and over 59,000 housing units nationwide.
Currently, services are operational at the Butterworth air force base, while six other camps are in testing phases.
The project offers affordable 100Mbps broadband plans, starting from RM39 monthly, aimed at improving digital access, education.
And communication for military families, with ongoing efforts to accelerate rollout across remaining camps.
