KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 — Malaysia’s ultra-high-net-worth population is projected to grow 39% by 2031, according to Knight Frank’s Wealth Report.

The number of individuals is expected to rise from 1,566 in 2026 to 1,881, driven by economic resilience, capital market growth, and steady currency performance.

The report also noted stable growth in Kuala Lumpur’s luxury property market, with prices increasing 1.1% in 2025 and transactions rising 5.4% year-on-year.

Reflecting continued investor confidence despite global uncertainties.
