KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said Malaysia’s crude oil supply remains stable, with no disruptions expected for May and June, particularly involving Petronas.

He said the latest assessment was presented at the National Economic Action Council meeting, noting that supply conditions are currently satisfactory.

However, the government continues to monitor global oil price movements, especially amid volatility linked to the ongoing situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Fahmi added that subsidy mechanisms such as BUDI RON95 and diesel assistance schemes are under review to ensure they remain aligned with global developments.

While some Malaysian-linked vessels remain stranded in affected areas, no new updates have been reported, and authorities are prioritising targeted subsidy measures moving forward.
