PUTRAJAYA, April 30 — Ministry of Finance Malaysia has issued new guidelines to ministries and agencies to reprioritise operating expenditure.

Amid global supply chain pressures and rising subsidy commitments. The ministry said the move reflects a prudent fiscal strategy to optimise government resources.

While ensuring continued support for the rakyat. It stressed that any spending adjustments will not affect essential public services or undermine overall economic stability.
