BALIK PULAU, May 18 — The government is focusing on improving the BUDI Madani RON95 (BUDI95) subsidy programme rather than introducing a new T20 income classification.

According to Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan. He said the existing system remains comprehensive and fair.

With plans to expand its implementation to Sabah and Sarawak while balancing subsidy costs amid global oil market pressures.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that Putrajaya is considering increasing the monthly BUDI95 fuel quota for p-hailing delivery riders from 200 litres to 250 litres.
