KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 — Malaysia’s East Coast has emerged as a leading domestic tourism hotspot, with online travel platform Traveloka reporting a more than 40% increase in bookings.

During the first quarter of 2026. The growth, which more than doubled the national average, comes as the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign gains momentum.
