RAJKOT, May 21 — Tourism Malaysia Mumbai is strengthening its outreach in India through the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) Roadshow held in Rajkot and Vadodara from May 19 to 21.
The initiative aims to boost collaboration with Indian travel trade partners while promoting Malaysia’s tourism offerings and upcoming attractions under the VM2026 campaign.
Led by Tourism Malaysia Mumbai director Haryanty Abu Bakar, the delegation includes 13 Malaysian tourism stakeholders.
Tourism Malaysia said Gujarat has strong outbound tourism potential, supported by improved air connectivity.
Including 12 weekly direct flights between Ahmedabad and Kuala Lumpur operated by Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia.
