PUTRAJAYA, May 21 — The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has advised air travellers to stay informed during the upcoming school holiday season.
Amid global developments affecting airline operations and flight schedules. CAAM urged passengers to regularly check flight updates, arrive earlier at airports.
Ensure booking contact details are updated and keep all travel documents for reference. CAAM also reminded consumers of their rights.
Under the Malaysian Aviation Consumer Protection Code (MACPC), including options for refunds, rerouting and assistance during delays or cancellations.
Passengers facing baggage issues are advised to immediately file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with airlines.
Consumers are encouraged to seek updates only through official airline, airport and authority channels, while unresolved complaints may be escalated through the FlySmart platform.
