KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 — Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) has pledged to strengthen coordination and engagement with state authorities.
Following concerns raised by Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah regarding military exercises conducted in Pahang.
In a statement, ATM said it fully respects and acknowledges the Crown Prince’s concerns and reaffirmed its commitment to carrying out military exercises.
In a professional, responsible and environmentally conscious manner. The armed forces said all exercises comply with operational guidelines, environmental assessments.
And mitigation measures set by relevant authorities. ATM added that it would continue improving coordination with the Pahang state government.
Enforcement agencies and local communities to ensure future exercises are conducted safely, systematically and with sensitivity to environmental and local concerns.
