PUTRAJAYA, September 23 — Prospective homebuyers should verify developers and housing projects through the government’s TEDUH platform before committing to a purchase.
The Housing and Local Government Ministry said TEDUH allows users to check developer licences, Advertising Permits and Developer’s Licences, approved selling prices and project progress.
Icluding projects classified as delayed, problematic or abandoned. The platform also provides document verification, complaint channels and information on government housing programmes.
KPKT said the initiative aims to reduce risks of dealing with unlicensed developers or buying without knowing a project’s actual status. TEDUH has recorded more than 45 million visits since its launch in 2017.
