SINGAPORE, September 26 — The Story of Studio Ghibli will make its world premiere at Gardens by the Bay on Dec 18, bringing 12 life-sized worlds inspired by the Japanese animation studio’s films to Singapore.
Spanning nearly 3,500 square metres, the exhibition will recreate scenes from My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle and other titles.
Highlights include an eight-metre-tall recreation of the Spirited Away bathhouse and interactive multimedia installations. The exhibition runs until July 4, 2027, with tickets now on sale.
